SPECIFICATIONS:

Machine Description: These machines make corrugated type fins

used in the manufacture of brazed type

aluminum coils.
General Description: Line includes ATKIN Uncoiler, Complete Fin

Machine, Stock Lubrication System &

Stacker.
Process Description: Fin stock feeds off an uncoiler, in press

fin is formed into a corrugated shape

then placed between a "parting" (solid)

sheets of approx. 0.040" material that

has a layer of solder on it (approx.

0.0015 thickness) & placed in a vacuum

brazing furnace. The accordion layers can

be multiplied as required. Headers are

then welded to the ends of the channels

so that flow of either water or air is in

one direction (such as R to L) throught

the coil.
